    SawMill project explores issues in constructing component-based multiserver operating 
    systems. It is a complementary project to L4Ka and uses L4Ka technology at its core. 
    The project aims to produce a system construction methodology, tools, and components 
    to allow system designers to quickly build customized operating systems targeted to
